A very easy walk around Riebinu lake near Straupe. Few sights, but quite comfortable route for the whole family. During the walk, there are several resting places near the Riebinu lake. You can swim or have a picnic there. Nice place to clear your head if you’re nearby!

Route description

An easy route around Riebinu lake. If you are nearby, I recommend you to go there to swim and relax. 

  • You can start the walk near the Straupe milk shop, but you can also start it closer to the lake (reducing the walking distance).
  • Go towards the lake and counter-clockwise around it.
  • Along the lake there are several recreation areas where you can have a picnic, relax, fish and have fun.
